We are heading towards the much-awaited sporting event of the year, the Women’s Euro 2022 Football Championship scheduled to kick start on the 6th of July 2022. This time England will be the host of this important tournament, where the top contender is hoping to capitalize on the semi-final show. It is in the last three major events, that team England is in high hopes to improvise in the semi-final matches.
One of the popular England women’s players Lucy Bronze believes England will perform better at the upcoming Euro 2022 mentally than in the previous tournaments. The team will play under new manager Sarina Wiegman, where it is believed the team will perform well and will successfully qualify for the finals of the World Cup under her guidance.
Lucy Bronze, the 2020 FIFA World Player of the year commented to one of the news agencies: “ I think for the Euro’s, as individual players, it’s probably the most the players have been prepared, in terms of that mentality to go into a big tournament”.
Apart from being a professional player, Lucy Bronze at the age of 30 is also involved in working with City Academy Player Ella Furlong for short films on important topics such as Hydration, Energy, recovery, skills, fitness, and menstruation.
Currently Bronze is looking ahead to a qualifying double-header against strong teams North Macedonia and Northern Ireland and later on will focus on World Cup 2022 championship. England so far has dominated in the group matches by winning all six matches and is now looking forward to the next year’s World Cup final.
